I have noticed that many things in life work in an ironic struggle of opposites. Chase luxury, chase away wealth. Chase fame, chase away worth. Chase instant gratification, chase away satisfaction. This is no coincidence, either, because the world was created by a writer.
This writer composes with succinct poetry — G-d's pen is full of dramatic irony, lyrical balance, and melodic symmetry. This great poetry called life, and the raucous symphony called this world, is set up to push us deeper into ourselves. Its writer writes a hall of mirrors, forcing us to find a more profound version of ourselves.
